A Truly Special Family Destination

Spanning an area roughly the size of 100 soccer fields, the Eifelpark Gondorf adventure park offers a unique combination of an amusement park and a zoo. With more than 60 attractions and over 200 wild animals , Eifelpark is the perfect destination for families with children, school field trips, kindergarten outings, senior citizens’ excursions, and exciting group trips.

On the “Pirate Island” whitewater ride, you’ll set off in log-shaped boats on a refreshing and action-packed journey along the 360-meter-long canal, featuring two drops from heights of up to 14 meters. In the sleds of the “Eifel-Coaster” summer toboggan run, you’ll glide down into the valley at speeds of up to 40 km/h. The nearly 1,000-meter-long track takes advantage of Eifelpark’s topography and is perfectly integrated into the beautiful park landscape typical of the Southern Eifel.

Other highlights among the rides include the lightning-fast roller coaster “Captain Jack’s Wild Mouse,” the world-first “Pirate’s Cannon Ride,” the chain carousel, the family roller coaster, the whitewater roundabout, the Pony Express, the “Gondorf Pirate Battle,” and the two bumper cars for children and the young at heart. Even the youngest visitors can have fun: children as young as 2 years old can ride attractions such as the “Construction Site Ride,” the “Mini Test Track,” or the “Eifel Slope.” At the puppet theater, fans of all ages can experience exciting adventures with Kasper, the Robber, and Purzel.

In spacious enclosures, visitors can observe deer, roe deer, brown bears, lynx, meerkats, wallabies, kangaroos, and many other wild animals up close. The feeding of bears and lynx, narrated by zookeepers, provides interesting information about the animals. Dog trainer Sandro will enchant you with his new four-legged show, which is exclusive to Eifelpark.

Adventure and themed playgrounds—such as the climbing garden, Tatzes’ Wild West, Tapsis’ Castle Tower, Purzel’s Pirate Paradise, and plenty of play equipment for toddlers—allow children to move around, run wild, and explore to their hearts’ content. The large water playground is a splashing delight—not just on warm days. At the excavator playground, kids move plenty of gravel and sand with small electric excavators.

The kids’ treasure hunt offers new pirate adventures every day around the Pirate Square.

At the Eifelpark Farm, our visitors can compete against each other in a fun milking contest with lifelike cow figures, as well as in Purzel’s wheelbarrow race.
