Kunstroute Kyllburg

Kyllburg

Open today

Kunstroute Kyllburg e.V. is a project that promotes art and culture in and for public spaces in a variety of ways.
Among other things, it provides a 3 km long, year-round route for installations and sculptures in the field of land art in Hahn town park. It thus offers national and international artists the opportunity to work in the tranquillity of nature, in and with the dimensions and size of the forest. It is an opportunity to leave the familiar view, the walls of the studio, the limitations of rooms and frames and to experience oneself in a different dimension.

For 2026, the Rhineland-Palatinate Summer of Culture will have the motto "The Golden Twenties". For us, however, the Golden Twenties also stand for

"radical change".

There are still 20-25 works of art from past years. The installations and sculptures are - wherever possible - made from ecological and natural materials. The art objects are created by the participating artists especially for the Kyllburg art route. In this way, the objects adapt to the respective installation site or tie in with local myths, stories or traditions.

The route is signposted and easily accessible, but unfortunately not 100% barrier-free. The tour takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. The art route team also organizes workshops, guided tours and events and is always happy to welcome participants and visitors.

The organizer is the "Kyllburg Verein(t) e.V.", a non-profit association to which several local associations belong.
