Burgstraße is a street that runs through the site of the former moated castle and Oberkail Palace. Here you’ll find many historic buildings that give the market its unmistakably cozy charm. In the romantic setting of barns, old buildings, and Christmas market stalls, over 50 vendors—who craft their products exclusively by hand using a wide variety of techniques—offer unique gift ideas and beautiful one-of-a-kind items.

The selection includes lovingly crafted sewing projects, felted items, paper crafts, practical wooden items, culinary treats, vintage linens given new life, decorations made from various materials, and much more. In addition, food and beverage stands invite you to linger. Enjoy Eifel-style potato specialties, Flammkuchen, delicious treats from the Christmas rotisserie, as well as coffee, cake, and waffles. In addition to the classic red winemaker’s mulled wine, a white variety is also available.
