Jazz Concert with The Coal Street Minors Brings Black Blues

The name says it all. They come from the Luxembourg mining region, where the color of coal was the dominant one for a long time. And even though that has changed completely today, black has remained a defining feature of the music played by the Caol Street Minors. Traditional blues forms the foundation, complemented by elements of rhythm and blues, rock ’n’ roll, and rockabilly.

The musicians met in 2013 at the renowned blues school in Differdange, and since then they’ve developed a sound all their own. Their music can be described as raw and unvarnished blues.

Monday Night Jazz will take place on Monday, October 5, 2026, starting at 8:00 p.m. in the Jazz Ballroom at the Bitburg Bowling Center, Charles-Lindbergh-Allee 5. Admission is free.
