Pietro Basile was born in 1989 in Munich, and his musical interest was already encouraged in his home. Growing up bilingual as a German-Italian, he attended the city music school and received keyboard lessons there, which later benefited him in composing. As early as 2008, the talented singer/songwriter achieved a first viral YouTube success with his bilingual song "Scusami," followed by his first tour through Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Through word of mouth, "Scusami" continued to spread and is even used in German casting shows today.

Meanwhile, Pietro looks back on over 200 million generated music streams, has released two successful duets with Sarah Engels, and is regularly seen in TV formats. His latest hit "Gianna" has quickly become a chart mainstay and underscores that Pietro Basile, with his unique German-Italian blend, is one of the most promising talents in the German music scene.
