Phish Heads bring jazz gift on St. Nicholas Day

For St. Nicholas Day, the Jazz Initiative Eifel has invited a young, emerging band.

As a kind of gift, the three jazz musicians have brought their new CD, which they will introduce and hope to win friends for their own music style.

“Loud Trios” has historically filtered the energy of 3 musicians directly to the listener in countless constellations. Whether bluesy and psychedelic in the Jimi Hendrix Experience, atmospheric and warm with Pat Metheny, or abstract and industrial with Wayne Krantz – the intimacy and power of this formation captivates you. The music of the Phish Heads combines elements from all these musical worlds and condenses the love of the 3 musicians for grooving rock, intricate jazz, catchy pop, and rugged electronica into diverse songs and exciting improvisations. Guitar, sliding bass, and driving drums – The concept of the Phish Heads. Featuring Oliver Herlitzka – Guitar, Henning Schiewer – Bass, and Felix Dehmel – Drums.

The Monday Night Jazz takes place on Monday, December 6, 2027, starting at 8:00 p.m. in the Jazz Ballroom at the Bowling Center Bitburg, Charles-Lindbergh-Allee 5. Admission free.
