Bitburger Jazzclub

The new season begins at the jazz club with blues and rock

DAN' CHA', Belgian guitarist and singer-songwriter, founded his new band in early 2024, oriented towards blues and rock. And this music will resonate in the jazz club.

After more than 20 years of experience as a live and studio musician, he now mainly writes and interprets his own songs, influenced by blues, soul, and rock. The melodies and lyrics of his songs are characterized by simplicity and aim to be catchy and memorable. Despite the cultivated compositional simplicity, DAN' CHA' places great value on melodic, rhythmic, and harmonic diversity. His serious lyrics address both everyday themes as well as social and societal grievances. A tribute to icons of the “blues” such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and B.B. King is essential in his repertoire. His friend band “the b.a.d. SLANG” elevates his music to a higher level. The band features Daniel Chavet (electric guitar, vocals), Romain Scheuren (electronic organ), Stephan Klinkenberg (bass guitar), and Martin Schommer (drums).

The Monday-Night Jazz takes place on Monday, 06. 09. 2027, starting at 8:00 p.m. in the jazz ballroom at the Bowling-Center Bitburg, Charles-Lindbergh-Allee 5. Admission free.
