3. Wanderung der Wanderwoche Südeifel 2026: Rauf und runter, alles mit im Gepäck

Includes refreshments during the hike, a hiking guide, and a regional meal after the hike

The route takes us past the late Baroque Church of St. Catherine in Langsur and across the

bridge to our neighbors in Luxembourg. We enjoy the flat stretch along the Sauer River all the way to Wasserbillig before crossing the border bridge back to the German side and heading up into the hills through the Wasserbilligerbrück district, past orchards with scattered fruit trees. The climb is rewarded with a picturesque autumnal view. We continue along the Stubach to higher elevations, past Liersberg. From here, we approach the Sauer River loop between Langsur and Mesenich, and soon the path descends steadily past the game reserve before we reach our destination for a break, the Langsurer BACKHAUS.
