Unser Wald – ein Ort der Geschichte
Jul 23, 2026
Bitburg
We embark on a journey of discovery in the “Land of Speicher”. In the region around Speicher, there were numerous potteries almost 2000 years ago. The forests still hold traces of their existence.
It is also interesting to consider the purpose of the “Roman Long Wall,” which was built in the 4th century and spanned an impressive 72 kilometers.
What did our landscape look like during Roman times and what role does this culture still play in our daily lives today?
