The Roman emperor and philosopher Marcus Aurelius is regarded as the epitome of a good ruler.
But what was life like for the man whose "introspections" later became world literature? Who was he, what shaped him and what was the ideal image of a good ruler?
First you will go to the Rheinisches Landesmuseum Trier at 10:30 a.m. and receive a guided tour through the first part of the Marcus Aurelius exhibition.
You will then have time for lunch before continuing with a guided tour of the Simeonstift City Museum at 2:30 pm.
The return journey is planned for 18:00, so you will arrive back at Bedaplatz at around 18:45.
