One of the most renowned bands from Luxembourg will present itself here. This is long overdue, as all the musicians have performed with us at least once before. However, they convincingly played in other formations. Now they come together as one.

In fact, the five musicians of the Tritone Studio Band have known each other for many years and have repeatedly encountered each other in various projects in the past.

However, it wasn't until 2022 that they came together in this format to consolidate their gathered experiences. Modern jazz is their domain. The unique combination of saxophone and trombone creates an unmistakable sound, supported by the rich groove of the rhythm section with piano, double bass, and drums.

In their repertoire, the Tritones blend jazz standards in all forms and colors. In the compositions of bandleader George Letellier, the musicians can express themselves freely, with plenty of room for interpretation and improvisation.

Performing are Georges Majerus – saxophone, Claude Kauffmann – trombone, George Letellier – piano, Romain Boden – double bass, and David Hoffmann – drums.

Expectations are high, and it will be exciting.

The Tritone Studio Band will perform on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, starting at 7 PM on the stage in Bedagarten. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held in the festival hall of Haus Beda. Admission is free.
