On August 23, 2025, the action day "Inclusion in Sports and Movement" will take place in Speicher on the marketplace and in front of the Vereinsräume of the organization "Bewegen e.V." – under the patronage of former Minister-President Malu Dreyer.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., visitors can expect a diverse hands-on and information program.

The event will kick off at 11:00 a.m. with opening remarks from Mayor Birte Thomsen, District Administrator Andreas Kruppert, a representative from the Ministry of the Interior and Sports, and the President of the State Sports Federation, Rudolf Storck.

At 11:30 a.m., the inclusive dance group "Dancing Queens and King" from Lichtblick Bitburg will perform.

Subsequently, until 4:00 p.m. various ongoing activities will be available, including:

• Basketball with the Doneck Dolphins Trier (alternating 30 minutes of play and rest)
• Table tennis with active athletes with disabilities and the Parkinson's TT group from SSG Kernscheid
• Introduction to the processes of athletics: SV "Eifelland" Orenhofen
• Swiss-Trac wheelchair towing machine: Disability Officer Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm
• Tandem bicycle: RV "Frei Weg" Serrig
• Wheelchair bike: Lebenshilfe Trier-Saarburg e.V.
• Dementia course: Coordination office Dementia Network Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm
• Painting movement stones, Movement Manager - Land in Bewegung -
• Sand area for children, free play opportunities
