The circular hiking trail 30 makes a wide arc north of the town of Neuerburg up to Plascheid and contrasts the deep Enz valley with the open heights of the Plascheid mountain.

After the limited valley perspective and darker forest passages, the distant view between "Auf der Höh" and "Auf dem Ketteschberg" is particularly impressive at up to 495 m above sea level. NN. On the way through the village, the 360° panoramic view gives us an initial idea of the "Islek".

The way back begins with a forest passage and the meandering Grimbach stream as it turns into the valley. On the former railroad line, now the Enzradweg, hikers experience the picturesque upper Enz valley, which finally leads them back to the small Eifel town of Neuerburg.
