The picturesque old town impresses with its winding streets, market square, castle, Lehnshaus, St. Nikolaus parish church, Eligius chapel and fountain, medieval Beilsturm and city fortifications, Kreuzkapelle, pilgrimage site “Schwarzbildchen”, city park with waterfall, and numerous other nature and cultural attractions. Guided tours are available upon request.
Neuerburg is a pilgrimage station on the Camino de Santiago from Cologne to Trier. Cafés and restaurants invite for a rest.
From June to September, the “Musical Summer” is celebrated in Neuerburg's market square with a diverse program of music and dance events.
