Bitburg's city center is the lively heart of the city - a place to shop, linger and experience. The redeveloped city center with its new squares, modern design and flexible greenery offers a high quality of stay - Bitburg is a future-oriented city with history.
As part of the "Innenstadt-Impulse" model project of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, a city center marketing concept was created for the city of Bitburg, which also includes a corporate identity, a brand identity for the city center.
A special feature of the new city centre brand is the elaborated key visual as an identification and advertising element, which is represented by an archway ("inverted U") in "Bitburg red" and ensures recognition value across all media.
As the first measure from the city centre marketing concept, the key visual has now been realized as a free-standing photo point in two formats for the outdoor area by Strategic Urban Development. As an eye-catcher, this 3D arch will invite locals and tourists to capture their special "BitburgMoment" and share photos with the arch or from Bitburg city center via social media with their own hashtag #BitburgMoment.
The first photo point will be positioned in the town hall square, where it will attract the public and invite people to take and share pictures!
Over the course of the year, other inner-city squares and locations will be used in rotation.
